Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy a drink every so often, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, credit cards and checks at home. Grab whatever money you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You could experience a profit following a boozy night out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. These activities just don’t mix.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a bit drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is required. If you wager to win, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratis beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk brain squanders all the cash!
Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but because I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I do not consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, drink.
